Playing in the No. 1 spot for the Scotties in both singles and doubles, Rinaldo (pictured at right) went 4-0 on the week, sweeping her opponents in straight sets during 9-0 wins over Point University and Wesleyan (Ga.). Against Point University, she paired with her sister, Anne Rinaldo, at No. 1 doubles for the win, then went on to dominate Taylor Navarro of Point University, 6-0, 6-3.  Her performance against Wesleyan was even more dominant, as she didn't drop a single game in singles or doubles. She has played No. 1 singles and doubles every match this season for the Scotties, with a record of 3-4 in doubles, and 4-3 in singles.

The GSAC sports information directors nominate Player of the Week candidates and then vote on the top two nominees in each sport as selected by the conference office. Player of the Week voting occurs on Tuesdays and the weekly announcement of the winners is released each Wednesday morning.
