Wesleyan's Kayla Williamson (pictured at right) scored a career high 29 points in an overtime loss to Agnes Scott. She hit a career high seven 3 pointers in the contest, while pulling down four rebounds and recording a steal in 43 minutes of action. This marks the fifth time this season that the sophomore led the Wolves in scoring.
The GSAC sports information directors nominate Player of the Week candidates and then vote on the top two nominees in each sport as selected by the conference office. Player of the Week voting occurs on Tuesdays and the weekly announcement of the winners is released each Wednesday morning.
